Before being placed in the the homes of puppy raisers, puppies are fed Purina Pro Plan Large Breed Puppy food. This formula was selected through collaboration between the Guide Dogs Veterinary Department and Kennel Department. Research, and guide dog experience, has shown that large breed diets help prevent and limit orthopedic problems.
