We foster and socialize puppies for Guide Dogs for the Blind. The puppies are bred and born in San Rafael, California. When they are eight weeks old, they go to their foster homes in California, Arizona, Utah, and Colorado. Raisers refer to this as "puppy truck day."
These puppies are currently active in the puppy raising program. They will stay in their raiser's home for about a year before being recalled for formal training. While in the raiser's home, the puppy will learn basic obedience, manners, and how to behave in all sorts of situations. Raisers will socialize the puppies in as many different situations as possible in order to prepare them to be guide dog candidates.
Sherbet
Sherbet (pronounced Sher Bay) is a female golden retriever. She was born on April 10, 2013 to dog dad Tom and dog mom Monet. She is being raised by Leah & family and Kirsten & family.
Revlon
Revlon is a female yellow labrador. She was born on April 5, 2013 to dog mom Belize and dog dad Jolt. Revlon is being raised by James.
Tanalei
Tanalei (pronounced Tuh nawl ee) is a female yellow labrador. She was born on April 8, 2014 to dog dad McKinley and dog mom Pia. Tanalei is being raised by Susan and Grace.
Vikram
Vikram is a male, black labrador. He was born on March 5, 2013 to dog dad Jolt and dog mom Hestia. Vikram will be group raised by Emily, Matt, Sharyl, Zoe, and Anya.
Danube
Danube is a female golden retriever. She was born on March 14, 2013 to dog mom Amici and dog dad Garcelle. She is being raised by Samantha and Janice.
Gustavo
Gustavo is a yellow lab/golden retriever mix. He was born on January 13, 2013 and is being raised by Trudy and John. Gustavo joined the club on March 20, 2013. Gustavo's dog dad is Picasso and his dog mom is Toffee.
Flyer
Baby Flyer flew into the club on March 20, 2013.He is being raised raised by Susan, Kelly, and Jen. Flyer is a male, black labrador born on January 22, 2013 to dog dad Parson and dog mom Norma.
Destiny is a female, yellow labrador. She is the puppy daughterof dog dad Jolt and mom Flicker. Danby
Danby is a male, yellow labrador. He is the puppy son of dog dad Jolt and mom Flicker. Flicker was raised in the Boulder club by Heidi.
Danby was born on January 8, 2013. He is being raised by Sara and Tom.
Gizmo is a male, black labrador being raised by Claudia. He flew into Colorado on January 18, 2013. He was born to dog dad Baldwin and dog mom Inez on November 21, 2012. Gizmo is littermates with Galaxy
Galaxy is a black, female labrador being raised by Gwen and Anna. Galaxy was born on November 21, 2012 to dog dad Baldwin and dog mom Inez. Galaxy is a littermate of Gizmo, also in the Boulder Club.
Midge
Midge was born on September 2, 2012 to dog dad Franklin and dog mom Amaya. Midge is a female golden retriever.
Sergio
Sergio is a male golden retriever who joined our club on Tuesday, November 13, 2012. Sergio was born on September 5, 2012 to dog dad Amador and dog mom Pebbles.
Nalani
Nalani joined the club on Tuesday, November 13, 2012. She looks like a black labrador, but she is a cross between a female black labrador and a golden retriever.
Dustin
Dustin is a yellow labrador who joined the club on October 13, 2012. Dustin is being raised by Kelsey and Pauline. He was born on August 9, 2012 to dog dad Jay and dog mom Arcadia.
Annie
Annie is Alexi's sister. She is a female, black labrador who is temporarily in our club for the summer of 2013. Annie was born on August 7, 2012 to dog dad Jenkins and dog mom Lapis.
Cashmere
Cashmere is a female yellow lab born 6.23.12 to dog dad Jay and dog mom Josie. She is being raised by Anna and Trevor.
Fanta
Fanta is a female, yellow labrador. She's being raised by Grace. Fanta was born on April 29, 2012 to dog dad Shane and dog mom Lacey.
Fanta is a very calm pup who lets people snuggle her for long periods of time.
