There are currently three ways a dog can "graduate" from guide dog school.
Working Guide - After 6 months or more of formal training, the dog is matched with a visually impaired partner. Up to 4 more weeks of training is done together on campus before the new team is presented at a graduation ceremony. Often times the puppy raiser has the opportunity to attend graduation and meet the new partner.
Breeder Dog - After returning for formal training, those dogs still under breeder consideration are carefully observed by the trainers and the breeding department. Only the most exceptional dogs are chosen to join the breeding colony. These dogs are also presented at a graduation ceremony and will live with a foster family in between litters of puppies.
K-9 Buddy - This is a new program that matches a suitable dog with a blind child to provide companionship, increased social opportunities, love, and experience caring for a dog. If the child later chooses to be matched with a guide dog, he or she will already have experience with dogs.
Dogs not selected for one of these three jobs are said to be career changed. Career changed dogs go on to work as therapy, search and rescue, diabetic detection, hearing, or of course pet dogs! Check out Boulder's wonderfulcareer change dogs!
Viva
Viva is a female, yellow labrador born on September 23, 2011. She is being raised by Sara and Tom. Her dog mom is Trinidad and her dog dad is David. She joined the club the second week of December 2011. She has a microchip isntead of a tatoo!
Viva graduated as a working guide dog in June of 2013.
2010 - Flicker
Flicker is a female, yellow labrador who graduated as a breeder.
Bonita
Bonita is a female, black labrador. She was born on 10.27.2011 to dog mom Bettymae and dog dad Pike. She joined the Boulder club on January 13, 2012 and is being raised by Gwen, Anna, and Quinn.
Bonita graduated from home training on May 28, 2013, and lives in Florida with her partner, Justin.
Deidra
Deidra was co-raised by Leah, Abby, Kirsten, and Emily. Deidra graduated as a working guide in March 2013.
Mona
Mona graduated as a breeder.
Mona is a female, yellow labrador who came to the club on October 14, 2011. She is being raised by Anna and Levin. Her dog mom is Fiji and her dog dad is Nevin. Mona's birthdate is July 28, 2011.
Athena
Athena is a female, mostly golden retriever being raised by CarolAnne and Cathy. Athena joined the group on January 13, 2012. Athena was born on 10-22-2011 to dog mom Pilar and dog dad Medford. Athena's brother, Andrew, has a blog complete with cute pictures.
Athena graduated and became a breeder.
Dora
Dora was raised by Grace and Susan. Dora graduated as a working guide in March 2013.
Cordova
Cordova is a female, yellow labrador. Cypress came off the puppy truck on November 11, 2011. She was born on 8/22/2011. Her dog parents are daddy Stockholm & mommy Starling.
Cordova graduated and is a working Guide Dog.
Keena is being raised by Heidi. Her parents are

Delaney is a cute, black labrador female with brindle paws. Her dog father is Jenkins and her dog mother is Wallaby. She was born on December 25, 2011.

2012 - Kia
Kia is a female black labrador born to dog mom Peach and dog dad Flamenco on August 21, 2010. Kia graduated as a working guide on March 24, 2012. She now lives in Tennessee with her partner.
2009 - Marsh
Marsh is a male, yellow labrador who graduated as a working guide in 2009.
2003 - Jarvis
Jarvis graduated was graduated as a working guide. Jarvis was raised by Susan and her family.
2011 - Hahn
Hahn is a male, black labrador born to dog mom Lark and dog dad Cabby on May 2, 2009.
1999 - Evelyn
Evelyn was raised by Susan and her family. Evelyn graduated as a working guide.

Yoko is a female yellow labrador born on April 16, 2010 to dog mom Mamie and dog dad Jenkins.
Jodianne
Jodianne is a female, yellow labrador born on April 27, 2010 to dog mom Dorinda and dog dad Jay.

Yates is a handsome fellow who was born to dog mom Mamie and dog dad Jenkins on April 16, 2010.

Blossom graduated as a breeder in 2008. She was born on November 24, 2006 to dog mom Audrey and dog dad Neo.

Jenson is a male, black labrador whose dog mom is Elsa and his dog father is Simon.
2001 - Maime
Maime graduated as a working guide. She was raised by Judy and her family. Maime is now retired and is living with her raisers.
2004 - Daytona
Daytona graduated as a working guide. Daytona was raised by Heidi and her family.
2004 - Kaylor
Kaylor graduated as a working guide. Kaylor was raised by Cathy and Carolanne.
2004 - Marlis
Marlis graduated as a working guide. Marlis was raised by Judy and her family.
2004 - Rubia

Viking was born on January 22, 2007 and graduated as a working guide in October 2008. He was raised by Emma and her family and Margaret. His dog mom is Dijon and his dog dad is Norbert.
Logan is a labrador/golden retriever second generation cross.
2010 - Delsey
Delsey is a female, labrador & golden retriver cross (2nd generation).
2009 - Dallas
Dallas is a female, yellow labrador. She was born on May 9, 2008 to dog mom Debra and dog dad Eric.
Nadine is a female, black labrador who is a working guide.2011 - Monica
