As puppy raisers, our job is to raise puppies to their fullest potential and to be guide dog canidates. Not all puppies are ultimately selected to be working guide dogs (due to either physical or training issues), but all play an important role in the mission of Guide Dogs for the Blind.
These puppies are not considered failures, as they are anything but that! They are called career changed dogs because they go on to many other careers including therapy, search and rescue, diabetic detection, law enforcement, and family pets.

Primrose
Primrose came on the puppy truck on November 11, 2011. She is being raised by Richard and Kyra. Primrose is a golden retriever puppy. She was born on 9/7/2011 to dog mom Jingle and dog dad Franklin. Primrose's recall date is 11/19/2012.
Primrose was career changed and lives with her puppy raisers.
2007 - Breanne
Breanne was raised by Alex, Jen, and Susan. She lives in Colorado with Alex and Jen.
Cypress
Cypress came off the puppy truck on November 11, 2011. She was born on 8/22/2011. Her dog parents are daddy Stockholm & mommy Starling.
Gene and Jane are co-raising Cypress with Jillian.
Cypress was career changed and she is living with her puppy raisers.
Penda
Penda is a female yellow labrador. She came into the club on October 14, 2011. Her date of birth is August 5, 2011. Her dog mom is Racine and her dog dad is Jay. Penda is being raised by Sharyl, Matt, Zoe, and Anya.
Penda was career changed for stress reasons.
Kaelyn
Baby Kaelyn is a female, black labrador. She came off the puppy truck on November 11, 2011. Kaelyn was born on 8/22/2011 to dog mom Trella and dog dad Pike.
She is being raised by Dori and Ellie.
Kaelyn was career changed for stress issues.
2010 - Matador
Matador is a male black labrador born to dog mom Tinella and dog dad Bosworth on 8/25/08.
Phineas
Phineas is a handsome yellow labrador. He was born on June 18, 2011 to dog mom Chenille and dog dad David. He is being raised by JulieMarie, lucky, and Michael.
Phineas was career changed on October 2012.
Edmond
Edmond joined the group on Friday, June 10, 2011. His birthday is April 15, 2011. His dog parents are Nevin and Basia.
Edmond was career changed in August 2012. He retruned to his puppy raising family.
2006 - Gobi
Gobi, a female, black labrador was born Feb. 4, 2005. She was raised by Cristina, and was career changed due to her eye condition, pannus.
Angel is a female yellow lab born 4/24/07 to Lilith and Eric.2001 - Izzy
Izzy was raised by Susan and her family. She lives with her raisers.
2004 - Garcia
Garcia was raised by Susan and her family and currently lives with his raisers.
Razzle
Razzle is a female black labrador born on May 14, 2010 to dog mom Melody and dog dad Simon.

Spice is a beautiful golden retriever born todog mom Crystal and dog dad O'Ryan in November 2009.
2009 - Humphrey
Humphrey is a male, yellow labrador born on April 28, 2007 to dog mom Fashion and dog dad Kinsey. Humphrey was co-raised by Claire W. and Lauren. His latest career is as a model.
2003 - Wasilla
Wasilla was raised by Margaret. She currently lives in Colorado with Margaret.
2009 - Montego
Montego is a female yellow labrador born on May 3, 2008 to dog mom Mabel and dog dad Damon. She was raised by Lucy, Jake, and family.
2009 - Gilly
Gilly is a female yellow labrador born on April 25, 2008 to dog mom Janelle and dog dad Damon. She was raised by Sheila and her family.
2009 - Wynette
Wynette is a female yellow labrador born to dog mom Esther and dog dad Kentucky. She was co-raised by Jill, Kirsten, Angela and their families.
